In class writing assignment for the week of Jan 23

Love

Floating above the rest of the world,
Feeling the butterflies in your stomach,
Being able to thin of nothing but that someone or something,
Love.

Grinning from ear to ear,
Knowing that at that moment nothing can bring you down,
Having the feeling of being able to concor any task,
Love.

Wishing you could feel this way for the rest of your life,
Dreading the moment when your whole world falls apart,
Aching, thinking you will never be able to go on with life once you have fallen,
Love.

Hurt, promising yourself you will never open your heart again,
Emptyness thoughtout your body,
Feeling as if you will never be whole again,
All you want is for life to return to the way it was before
Love.

An ongoing battle with yourself, your heart, soul and ones whom you pour your heart,
A vicious, endless cycle which you get rapped up in over and over again,
Waiting for the begining of the cycle to come again,
Waiting for that special feeling of Love.
